Event Content: This five-day non-denominational Christian spiritual conference hosts daily praise and worship sessions, biblical preaching, prayer gatherings, leadership forums and entrepreneurship discussions. Thousands of worshippers across Kenya and multiple African nations gathered in Uhuru Park, requiring a large outdoor performance structure, heavy-load suspension rigging and crowd safety systems to sustain continuous daytime and evening sessions.
Project Setup Information: Our local partner Gripevents served as the main on-site turnkey contractor for stage production. Sgaier Truss supplied all core modular hardware including main pin truss roof, assemble stage decks, layer truss suspension towers and aluminum anti-crush barriers. Our engineering team provided remote technical drawings and installation guidance to the on-site crew.
Project Result: The whole stage system operated safely throughout all five days of the event, without structural failure or safety incidents. The full modular rig successfully bore heavy lighting rigs, multi-panel LED screens and large line array speaker systems. Crowd barriers maintained orderly separation between stage performance zone and massive audience area. After the event, all hardware was fully dismantled, packed and stored for reuse in future productions.

To meet the high-standard operation requirements of the five-day large-scale Rhema Feast religious conference, we provided a full set of customized modular stage and safety support equipment. Each product is professionally designed for long-term outdoor high-load operation, with outstanding safety, flexibility and cost performance, perfectly adapting to large event scenarios in the African region.
1. S450 45×45cm Pin Truss Main Frame (22×15×12m)
The overall overhead load-bearing structure of the main stage adopts S450 specification pin truss, with a main column tube size of 45×45cm and a reinforced cross beam size of 60×76cm. The ultra-large spanning frame of 22m×15m×12m is the core load-bearing structure of the entire stage, undertaking all stage lighting equipment, top sunshade and rainproof tarpaulin, and auxiliary equipment loads. The advanced pin-type connection structure realizes tool-free rapid assembly, which eliminates complex welding and cutting processes on site, greatly saving the construction cycle of large venues.
In terms of economic benefits, this S450 pin truss has extremely high reusable value. Made of high-strength corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy, it can resist strong sunlight, wind and sudden rainfall in the outdoor open environment of Nairobi, with low daily maintenance cost and long service life. Different from disposable temporary steel structures, the modular pin truss can be freely disassembled, combined and rearranged. Event rental companies can reuse the same set of truss equipment for dozens of different types of activities such as religious conferences, music festivals and corporate ceremonies, completely avoiding repeated high-cost customized construction. The efficient assembly and disassembly performance also greatly reduces on-site labor costs, effectively improving the asset turnover rate and comprehensive profit margin of event enterprises.
2. 1×1m Modular Assemble Stage Platform
The main performance area of the event adopts 1.2m×1.2m standardized assembled stage panels. Each panel is independently stressed and locked with high-strength connectors, which can be quickly spliced into a flat and integrated performance platform matching the size of the main truss frame. The stage panel has excellent bearing capacity, which can stably carry long-term standing of preachers, gospel singers, bands, as well as various musical instruments and stage props, and can maintain stable structure during continuous high-frequency use for 5 consecutive days.
This modular stage has prominent practical and economic advantages. The single-panel lightweight design supports manual handling and rapid laying without large mechanical equipment assistance. After the event, the split structure is convenient for centralized stacking, transportation and warehouse storage, occupying little space. The flexible combination mode can adapt to stage sizes of different events, realizing the flexible reuse of equipment, reducing the repeated procurement cost of stage base equipment for customers, and solving the pain points of high investment and low utilization rate of traditional integrated stages.
3. Layer Truss Suspension System (LED Screen & Line Array Speaker Dedicated)
Different from the main pin truss roof frame, we independently built a special layer truss suspension tower system on both sides of the stage, which is specially used for installing and fixing large spliced LED display screens and hanging high-power line array audio systems. The layer truss adopts dense modular scaffolding structure, with higher local load-bearing strength and structural stability, which can disperse the heavy weight of LED screens and line array speakers to avoid local pressure overload of the main stage frame. Equipped with professional screen fixing brackets, suspension cross beams, safety ladders and counterweight fixing facilities, the system ensures zero shaking and stable operation of audio and video equipment during the event.
Economically, the disassembled and combined design of layer truss brings great cost-saving space for event operators. All accessories are universal and interchangeable, which can be freely combined into suspension towers of different heights and shapes according to different event equipment layouts. The stacked storage method greatly reduces warehouse occupancy and logistics transportation costs. The durable aluminum alloy material avoids frequent replacement and maintenance, and one-time procurement can meet the equipment needs of long-term multi-scene use, effectively reducing the long-term operating costs of event companies.
4. Aluminum Interlocking Anti-Crush Barrier
The stage front and the boundary between the performance area and the audience area are fully equipped with our customized aluminum interlocking safety barriers, which are the core safety facilities to isolate the stage and control the crowd. Made of high-strength lightweight aluminum alloy, each barrier unit weighs only 30kg, which is convenient for quick manual carrying and laying by construction personnel without mechanical assistance. The single barrier expands to 1.2m×1.0m×1.2m, forming a high-standard anti-impact safety isolation wall; after the event, it can be folded flat to 1.2m×1.0m×0.14m, greatly reducing storage and transportation volume.
The barrier adopts an integral interlocking buckle design, which can be closely connected with adjacent units after installation, with strong anti-toppling and anti-extrusion ability, which can effectively resist the impact of dense crowds during the peak audience period of the event and ensure the absolute safety of performers and stage equipment. Its foldable and reusable design avoids the waste of disposable guardrail materials. For long-term engaged event rental enterprises, it can greatly reduce the repeated purchase cost of safety isolation equipment, and is the most cost-effective safety supporting facility for large-scale outdoor public events in Africa.
图片On-Site Construction & Project Execution Process
The entire project was undertaken by a professional local construction team in Nairobi, with our Sgaier Truss engineering team providing full-process remote technical support, including construction drawing design, installation process guidance and structural safety inspection. First of all, the construction team completed the assembly and erection of the 22×15×12m S450 pin truss main roof frame to build the overall load-bearing framework of the stage. Then, the 1×1m modular stage panels were laid and locked one by one to form a complete and stable performance platform.
Subsequently, independent layer truss suspension towers were built on both sides of the main stage. After the structural stability test, large-scale spliced LED screens and line array speaker systems were installed and fixed to ensure the stable output of event audio and video effects. After the completion of the main stage equipment debugging, the team arranged aluminum interlocking barriers along the entire front edge of the stage to standardize the isolation of the performance area and the audience area. Finally, the top tarpaulin was installed on the main truss to protect the stage equipment and guests from strong ultraviolet rays and sudden rainwater, and all equipment passed the final safety acceptance before the event opening.

The 2026 Kenya Rhema Feast grandly concluded after five days of continuous wonderful sessions, and all stage and safety equipment provided by us operated stably throughout the whole process with zero safety accidents and zero structural failures. The ultra-large S450 pin truss main frame steadily supported all lighting and top protection equipment, adapting to the complex outdoor weather in Nairobi. The special layer truss suspension system kept the LED screen and line array audio equipment stable and error-free, ensuring the perfect presentation of on-site preaching, worship and forum activities.
The standardized assembled stage provides a safe and comfortable performance environment for all guest ministers and artists. The aluminum interlocking barriers effectively standardized the on-site crowd order, successfully avoiding crowd extrusion and safety hidden dangers even in the case of full audience attendance. All modular equipment was completely disassembled, sorted and stored after the event. The customer can reuse all the equipment in subsequent large-scale events, greatly reducing the later equipment procurement and production costs.
